James and I went to Toronto this weekend for our anniversary. Did I photograph the beautiful people? no. The amazing sights? no. Just joy in a box from Urban Herbivore.

Amelia and I went to Flint to visit the show and take some pictures. You can see she is a cat crawling around the sculptures.This space is so lovely. I am proud to be in a show with them!

twins

As I was making this I realized it was for a friend of mine, Jan. She thought it was for her too and graciously bought it from me. It has all the things I love to make: twins, goat legged women, babies. I guess all that is missing is a boat. I like making twins because there is the question "Is it the same person twice or two different people. These twins represent the duality of being and artist and mother.

Amelia and her brother (not pictured) made this cake for my brother's girlfriend's birthday. Josh asked that I not put pictures of him on my blog and out of my deep respect for him, I am following his wishes.

blue hair

amelia wanted blue hair so i painted it with watercolors. of course it washed right out and turned her pillow blue, but it was very fun while it lasted.
